I will be taking a study abroad course in London for the entire month of July. I'm going to use this Tumblr to keep everyone updated on my trip :)

Today’s been pleasant. I slept a lot, which I needed. I’ve been constantly on the go for over a week now and it’s high time I had some time to chill. I’ve been running on empty for the past few days, which is never good, but you know how I like to be on the go! I’ve still got to write my reaction paper for our Liverpool fieldtrip and read some in my Manchester book, which is currently boring me to tears. I have also been reading the Henry VIII book that Kristi so graciously loaned to me.
This week doesn’t contain too many big activites. I have class on Monday and Wednesday. Our weekly fieldtrip is on Tuesday -we’re taking a rock and roll walking tour of London! Hopefully, I’ll get to go see the Chambers on Thursday night since it’s the last gig that’s somewhat close to us. Lexie and I had also talked about going to Paris since we have a 4 day weekend, but I don’t know if that will happen. If not, I’m perfectly happy staying in swinging London ;)
Yesterday, my friends and I went shopping. We headed to the horse stables (Camden Market) in Camden for our first stop. I love Camden. It’s very youthful and stylish. We browsed through sooooo many vintage shops. It was fun to see all the funky old clothes. I made my first purchase - a Sun Studio shirt. Random, I know, but I fell in love with it. We also went to Notting Hill so that we could shop on Portabello Road. None of us really enjoyed Portabello Road since it was mostly antiques and whatnot. We didn’t spend much time there, but all agreed that we would definitely be back for several more rounds of shopping in Camden.
I hope the weather at home is treating you all nicely. It’s been cold and rainy here for the past two days. Ugh. My sweaters are coming in very handy, that’s for sure. This weather is so unpredictable!
Love to all!
